Saturday 20th June 2015

A fairly quiet day overall, with rain encroaching in the early afternoon. Ringing was limited to a Dunnock, Blue Tit and Great Tit in the nets, but moths improved today with a Lunar Hornet Moth and 2 Red-necked Footman of particular note. At least 7 Lesser Whitethroats were around the reserve and both Common and Little Tern flew past the Broadwater.
