Ringing, Friday 18th September

The monthly ringing visit at Hempton took place yesterday, and proved reasonably productive. 27 birds were processed in all, with a Nuthatch the obvious highlight. Meanwhile overhead, Siskin were heard throughout the morning with at least 7 seen moving between the trees, and a flock of 9 Mistle Thrush flew North.
