A cold day with a strong north wind. Sadly this didn't produce a great deal on the sea, with a single Fulmar, Sandwich and Little Tern the only species of note offshore. A Short-eared Owl was seen on the grazing marsh and around the reserve 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 4 Whitethroats, 6 Sedge and 6 Reed Warblers, as well as the usual 2+ Cetti's Warblers, a Cuckoo and 2 Turtle Doves were seen.
In the moth trap another Frosted Green and Poplar Hawk were of particular interest.
