Ringing was productive at the Obs reserve today with 2 Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Reed Warblers, a Meadow Pipit, 5 Whitethroats, 4 Blue Tits, Long-tailed Tit and Wren among the catch. Around the reserve a Great Spotted Woodpecker was of interest and over the marshes a Red Kite and 4 Common Buzzards were also seen. A group of 5 Teal were noted passing east along the Broadwater.

After last night's low temperatures moths were very sparse but Swallow and Pebble Prominent, Southern Wainscot, Ruby Tiger and Drinker were still found in the traps today.
