CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER 2020

COVID-19 Restrictions on NOA Reserves Further to the announcement of a second lockdown in order to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus, the NOA must once again close all hides on its nature reserves from 5th November. While we would discourage anyone from travelling too far during this crucial time, our reserves themselves will remain open for local visitors and usual charges will apply for non-members. Please follow government advice, and respect social distancing at all times. We will restore access to our facilities as and when government restrictions permit. We are very grateful for your understanding and support.

Sunday 5th August 2018

A Wood Sandpiper and 2 Green Sandpipers were of note on the NWT pools. A juvenile Stonechat was around the reserve and a Yellow Wagtail flew over calling. On the sea a Fulmar, 5 Little Terns, 18 Sandwich Terns and 4 Common Terns were recorded.

Moths included 4 Humming-bird Hawk Moths on the buddleias, and a Twin-spotted Wainscot in the traps.
