On the sea today 55 Common Scoters, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Red-throated Diver, 7 Gannets, a Fulmar, 19 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Red-necked Grebe, 1 Slavonian Grebe, a Pom Skua, a Little Auk and a Purple Sandpiper were all noted. A ring-tail Hen Harrier and a Peregrine were seen and 7 Waxwings flew over. Also of interest were 100 Fieldfares, 2 Rock Pipits, 110 Linnets, 1 male Redpoll in the pines singing, 10 Crossbills and a single Snow Bunting.
