Holme Bird Observatory Friday 14th February 2020

On the sea today 16 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 female Long-tailed Duck, 4 Eider and 2 Fulmars were of interest while an adult male Peregrine, a Red Kite, 400 Golden Plover were around the reserves and a Woodcock, 2 Water Pipits and 7 Bullfinches were in the village. A flock of 40+ Snow Buntings were on the beach, and a Spotted Redshank and 11 Twite were at Thornham Harbour.
