A very blustery day with light showers. A Tawny Owl flew across from the corner of Broadwater to the pines during the morning.
A Blue-tailed Damselfly and a Common Darter were on the wing in the afternoon, and in the moth traps 3 Cinnabars, 14 Common Footmen, 3 Buff Ermines, 2 Ferns, a Currant Pug, 2 Short-cloaked Moths, a Burnished Brass, a Middle-barred Minor, Riband Wave, Mottled Rustic, Striped Wainscot, Kent Black Arches, 3 Flames, Fen Wainscot, Pine Hawk, Peppered Moth, Common Emerald, 2 Dwarf Cream Waves, a Flame Wainscot, 2 Uncertains, a Leopard Moth, a Rustic and a Turnip.

COVID-19 Update Monday 12th April 2021
Further to the lifting of restrictions on Monday 12th April 2021 the NOA reserves and car parks remain open to visitors but hides remain closed. We are hoping to be able to open hides to visitors on Monday 17th May 2021 in line with expected changes to government restrictions, and will post further updates on this page prior to the changes commencing.
We continue to thank all our members and visitors for their patience, and for continuing to keep our staff and visitors safe.
